When the latest RE5 Trailer was published I dare saying I was one of the first who posted it since I loaded it as soon as it was out.
Anyways, I found it quite amusing to see (and participate in) all the discussions about the game itself and mainly who this woman is in different communities (e.g. the one in my last post).

It was interesting, amusing and after a while highly entertaining.
But now I recently saw more and more people complaining about the opinion some others have.
I call it the "Sherry-Issue" or the "Shery-Effect".
Because it mainly deals with the question if that mystic woman is Sherry or someone else.
Some of them really act as if it was a major crime to have this opinion/theory that it is Sherry.

I, for one, wish it is Sherry. Further I can definitely see where the Sherry theories come from and (at least partly) agree. And there is no point in argue with me about that because my opinion on this won't change until we have solid, official information or RE5 is finally out.

So why the hell can't you certain people just let others have their own opinion/theory without telling them they're stupid and have NO idea?!

If someone says something to support the theory they dash on those people too.

This began to annoy me!

People! You have your own Theory. Your own opinion. You base them on your own sources and thoughts.
If I go and literally tell you that your theory is bullshit and you have no idea about the subject - You would be pissed. Deny it but we all know you would be. Even if only for a second.
(And I'm not going into that detail of people acting like they know EVERYTHING because it sometimes appears that way but people should be able to recognize that it isn't meant that way.)


You think the other theory is bullshit? Then prove it wrong! Prove that YOURS is the THE right one! Or just shut up.

And I have a certain feeling that you can't prove it wrong. Because all theories are based on the SAME information! Room for interpretation or not.

If you can't accept that people may have other opinions/theories than you then you better go and die ;) stay quiet.

You are welcome to discuss. But not being an imbecile ignoramus. Bring up facts and don't yap!

Back home from the cinema last night and after a nice and interesting conversation with my RE² I thought about some things.

And the conclusion pissed me off once again.
I don't know why I waste my time with this. Maybe because I like to know what I can expect from some people. Or better, not expect.

So my old rule "Expect nothing so you won't be disappointed" proved to be true once again.
Amazing but common fact: People do not thank you for something you did for them but take it for granted, it seems.

It goes without saying that I don't apply that on all people! But for the most of them.
Certain people definitely don't belong to that majority. And you guys know who you are ;)

One can expect something (no matter what) in exchange at least once! Because this 'once' may is the only chance to prove if you belong to that majority or or not.
Rarely one gets a second chance (only if there's a good reason but that's another thing which doesn't belong to this matter now).

I am talking about a simple 'Thank you'.

Those people who are supportive even if they actually can't be at that moment but are anyways...don't they deserve at least some letters in a specific order so they build a word? I'm not talking about life-saving measures here were I, for my part don't need any gratefulness nor should anyone else.
I'm talking about those many little but also important things.

What if no one would ever do something for you anymore? What then? Tell them to fuck off and do it on your own? Well, try but I can assure you that you'll run into a wall sooner or later except you have all the abilities needed. And even I don't have all those abilities nor do most people have. But lets stop drifting away from the actual matter.

Is it so difficult or unreasonable to show gratitude? Only once?

Call me picky, arrogant, hell even selfish if you have to, but this is my opinion. And nothing will change that.

If you would never get something back even though they could, wouldn't you be pissed too?
